My sister's son is really obesse and I am not in a country which we have any good doctors for it.

He is (about 135 lb or something) 66 kg and was born June 10,1998 .
11 years old .I REALLY appreciate some tips from u guys.

He can't do push ups! I want a few excersize tips and a diet program or something I leave it all to u. Hoe u could help me.

It is good that you have sought the help of Yoga to bring your body back into shape. While your practices and measure to eliminate excess weight or what you do is important, what you shouldn’t do is just as important.

* Don’t resort to weight reduction pills or powders of any sort and please avoid crash diets. We shall prescribe you a simple diet that is healthy, easy to follow and will deliver the desired results. See a nutritionist or dietician, if you must, but preferably one who knows and practices Yoga.

* Never skip meals. This makes you overeat at other times. So, by all means eat three or even four times a day, but eat light and sparingly.

Yogic Diet

This is very important, if you wish to get back into shape and develop a healthy, slim and shapely physique. Let your diet be Yogic and Sattvic (pure, light and predominantly vegetarian). This means plenty of raw foods – salads, sprouts and seasonal fruit – vegetable juices, dried fruits and loads of water.

Avoid potatoes, peas, chick peas, grams, peanuts, all non-veg fare, fried, fatty and spicy foods, junk / fast foods, packaged foodstuffs and confectionary products. Also keep away from milk and milk products such as cheeses and butter. But you may have plenty of diluted buttermilk prepared from skimmed milk. Avoid snacking between meals and, as mentioned before, never skip a meal.

I'm about 30 lbs overweight, and I know being in shape is great for your baby's health and you look great. I was on a diet and strict exercise schedule before getting pregnant but upon finding out I quit. Is it safe to lose extra body fat during pregnancy? With walking, healthy eating and small amounts of pregnancy safe exercises daily or every other day. I'm 3 months 4 days pregnant.
I'll be eating the same amount of food every day just healthier food and I take prenatal vitamins?

No. Your baby needs to have as much nutrition as it can. Lose the extra weight once you have the baby. You can workout though! Pregnancy workouts are available, and for the first 4 months you can work out like you were before.

Depending on how you already eat:
In July (this year) I decided to eat ealthier but not actually diet. I cut out bad foods, and started snacking healthier. I replaced soda with water & homemade iced tea (make tea add ice cubes), started snacking better (hummus, granola with dried cherries & chocolate chips, tomato and mozzeralla salad, fiber bars, rice cakes, sugar free jello, oatmeal, cereal, healthy soups, salads, blueberries, yogurt) and started eating healthier (half your plate should be veggies, brown rice, more protein less cheese and bread etc). I lost 7 lbs since the summer. Also I try to clean, vaccum or walk a little bit more. I snack alot so replacing potato chips or popcorn with healthier options helped ALOT. & I can still snack.

Here is a great diet plan. I like it because it only restricts the kind of foods you eat and not the amount. I tried it and it worked pretty well for me.

Jumping Rope works best and fastest. But it's not a machine. If you really want a machine then the ellipticals because they usually come with arm poles that you can work with so the upper and lower body gets worked resulting in more calorie loss. However Jumping Rope still tops all the other excersises.

I have no support from friends or family. My parents always put me down, instead of encouraging me. I don't have any friends.

I want to lose weight because I want to have a normal childhood. I've been obese since I was a little girl and no matter how many times I try, I can never lose weight.

I'm 13 years old, 5'4 and 180 pounds.

I am beginning menopause and having a terrible time losing weight, it's coming off a pound a week but GAWD I'm working for that! Has anyone had any success with a metabolism accelerator actually working? Not looking for a pill to take, more along natural lines of diet or herbal supplements. Thanks!

(I asked this yesterday but only got a few answers, was hoping some fitness people are on today that could help me, appreciate all the advice!)

exercise is always good. a brisk 30 minute walk 4 times a week is a good start. maybe some circuit weights 2 days a week.

It is not possible without liposuction or death. Your body will literally perish because that is a deficit of 5000 calories a day. Approx 3500 calories is 1 pound of weight.

Running easy along with controlling your calorie intake is the most effective way to lose weight.
Each mile burns about 100 calories, it takes 3500 calories to lose one pound.

So successful weight loss requires a good diet and exercise.

Your low intensity running could be burning as much as 500 calories, which adds up to a lot over a period of time.
